All week Scout.com - South will be updating the rankings for the southern players. The states included are Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The first group to be updated is the receivers.

Schools from all over the country flock to the deep south to recruit speed, and this year is no different. While there might not be a Fred Rouse, Calvin Johnson, or Patrick Turner in this class, there is a lot of depth. As deep as 50 receivers in the South are getting offers from big time schools. Here is a look at the Scout.com - South wide receiver rankings to date.

A few notes:

Jamar Hornsby will be in the safety rankings. Tony Wilson has been moved from corner to wide receiver.
