Wednesday, 11/2 at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. ET; re-airs Friday 11/4 at 7 p.m. ET.
In the CTSD spotlight on Wednesday's show is Micah Johnson (6-2, 262), who is projected to play either defensive tackle or linebacker at the next level. Amazingly, Johnson also played running back at Fort Campbell (Ky.) HS, where he rushed for more than 1,200 yards and 17 scores in only six games. Defensively, however, he logged an amazing 173 tackles, most of which came in the first half of games in which Fort Campbell held a commanding lead. Interested in his services are Georgia, Kentucky, Notre Dame, LSU, Michigan, Virginia Tech, Alabama and Auburn.
Wednesday's show also checks in on Justin Williams (6-2, 183), who, as a junior at Charlton County HS (Folkston, Ga.), put up impressive numbers on both sides of the ball - 810 yards (39 catches) and 11 touchdowns as a wide receiver; 33 tackles, five interceptions (two returned for TDs) and one fumble returned for a TD as a defensive back. He has keen interest in
Florida and Georgia.
Offensive lineman/defensive tackle Clifton Geathers (6-7, 280), from Carver's Bay High School in Georgetown, S.C., was named all-state as an offensive lineman following his junior season. Geathers' family has a history in the NFL as his brother, father and uncle all have experience at the professional level. The younger Geathers has interest in Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.
Another standout athlete projected as a both sides of the ball player is Tony Wilson (5-11,185), who
has verbally committed to Georgia. At Mainland HS in Daytona Beach, Fla., this wide receiver/cornerback and punt returner had 1,000 all purpose yards, including 600 yards in receptions, and he posted 20 tackles and one interception on defense. Wilson also returned a pair of punts for TDs to go along with an average
of nearly 100 special teams yards per game. He is the brother of North Carolina running back Vince Wilson.
