The Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas brings the top players to compete against each other, and one player continually has a grin on his face every day, Jamal Medlin. The 6-foot-6, 295 pound offensive lineman has been the second-best offensive lineman for either team, behind only Carl Johnson, and the Orangeburg-Wilkinson, S.C. product stays humble throughout.

"This is probably the funnest practice I've had in my life. The best in South Carolina going head-to-head to play," Medlin said. "It lets you know where you are as a player, talent-wise, but I've played most of these guys at one point...
