"I played linebacker and running back last season," Jordan said. "I think most schools are looking at me as a linebacker or a defensive end on the next level. I think a couple of schools have mentioned me as a tight end or maybe a third down fullback, but I'm probably going to end up on defense."
The 6-foot-2, 235-pound Jordan very well could end up at defensive end on the next level with his 4.85 second 40-yard dash speed. He runs a blazing a shuttle time as well.
"I have been getting stuff from a lot of schools, all of the Big 12 and most of the SEC. I have been in close contact with Texas A&M and Arkansas and some with Iowa State. They sent me their card and told me to call them whenever I wanted."
Jordan played running back last year for his high school team where he rushed for 960 yards and 12 touchdowns.
"I am looking at Texas, Texas A&M, Iowa State, Alabama and Arkansas. I really kind of want to stay in the Big 12, but if I decide to leave and go somewhere else it would be Arkansas or Alabama."
Jordan could be one of those guys that makes an early decision if the right offer comes along.
"I don't know if I am going to commit early or wait a while and take visits. We will just have to see what comes along and how I feel with the coaches and all of that."
