A year ago, Miller played quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back and has the size and athleticism to play either tight end or possibly defensive end in college. He was a 1st team All-Region selection at safety after totaling 57 tackles. He played quarterback the first four games and rushed for 220 yards on 43 carries.
“Washington was the first school to offer me but our family has had season tickets at Arizona State for a long time,” Miller said. “Once ASU offered me, that was it. They have been my top choice for a long time so I called up Coach Koetter yesterday and got it done.”
Miller attended the Nike Camp in Palo Alto but had to sit out the camp as he was nursing an injury. Another plus for the Sun Devils in landing Miller is his younger brother Zac is one of the top rising juniors on the West Coast and has All-American potential at tight end.
Academically, Miller is carrying a 3.86 GPA and will take the SAT over the summer.
