Bobby Brenneisen, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound, quarterback, from Sacred Heart-Griffin high in Springfield, Ill., has emerged as a prospect to watch in the Land of Lincoln. Brenneisen will be a four-year varsity starter in 2006, he threw for 3,200 yards and 38 touchdowns as a junior and was named all-state.

“I don’t have any scholarship offers right now.” Bobby Brenneisen told Scout.com

“I’ve been to Indiana, Wisconsin, Purdue, Illinois, Northern Illinois, Northwestern and Illinois State for junior days.

“My favorites are Indiana, Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, Purdue, Michigan Sate, Colorado and Illinois.”

Brenneisen attended a Nike combine this past weekend at Ohio State and he’s also planning on attending the Scout.com All-American combine in Louisville on May 20th.

What will college recruiters see when looking at Brenneisen on film?

“I’m a good decision maker, leader and I’m a winner.” Brenneisen said. “I’m always working on my footwork and reads. Right now I’m lifting and eating. I’m trying to get bigger.”

Brenneisen carries a 3.0 GPA in the classroom and scored a 22 on his ACT.
