20. Carlton Johnson, LB, 6-1, 190, Lynn Haven (Mosley)
There isn't a more active linebacker anywhere in the state. He's a bit undersized at 6-1 and under 200 but he can fly and has tremendous instincts.
19. Jacoby Monroe, DE, 6-2, 280, Jacksonville (Sandalwood)
After a dominating sophomore year that put his name on the recruiting map, he sat out as a junior. If the spring were any indication, he'll be back with a bang as a senior. He's a big time pass rusher who will shoot up this list with a strong senior season.
18. Doug Wiggins, CB, 5-10, 185, North Miami Beach
A multi-talented player, Wiggins could probably be a top 20 kid at a couple different positions. He has tremendous cover skills, which leads me to believe he'll play corner. He's a big play guy at safety and is also dangerous with his hands on the ball.
17. Lorenzo Edwards, S, 6-2, 220, Orlando (Edgewater)
There isn't a more impressive athlete in the state this year. He has a tremendous work ethic and the only thing that's prevented him from being ranked a lot higher is questions over whether he'll play linebacker or safety in college. Regardless, he's a big time football player.
16. Leonard Hankerson, WR, 6-2, 185, Fort Lauderdale (St. Thomas Aquinas)
One of the most impressive WR prospects anywhere this year, Hankerson is a top notch basketball player and it shows when he's going after the ball on the football field. Nearly half of his catches went for touchdowns in 2005.
15. James Wilson, OL, 6-4, 315, St. Augustine (Nease)
Clearly the state's top offensive line prospect, Wilson has all the tools to become a dominating player at the college level. If he can protect Nease's new quarterback like he did Tebow last year, he'll move up on this list.
14. Damien Berry, S, 6-0, 195, Belle Glade (Glades Central)
Here's another player who was outstanding as a sophomore but then missed his junior season because of a torn ACL. He's back at 100 percent and looked outstanding at various camps. It's hard having him this high because he didn't play spring either because of a transfer rule and it's hard having him this low because he's such an incredible talent.
13. Brandon Paul, CB, 5-10, 180, Tallahassee (Lincoln)
Another in the long line of talented prospects at Lincoln, Paul is the best in this year's group at that school. He's one of the state's fastest recruits and is perhaps the most explosive return man in this year's class. As a cornerback prospect, he has all the tools to make a big impact in college.
12. Demarcus Van Dyke, CB, 6-1, 160, Miami (Pace)
He burst onto the scene last year with a strong junior season but then proved that he's one of the state's fastest players this spring. His combination of size (6-foot-1) and speed (4.35) makes him a very impressive prospect. His best football is far ahead of him.
11. Major Wright, S, 6-2, 190, Fort Lauderdale (St. Thomas Aquinas)
A head hunter in the secondary, Wright is a big time safety prospect. People around STA say he's better at this age than Nate Salley and Anthony Reddick.
