Defensive tackle Marvin Austin (Washington D.C.) still claims the top spot in the land, holding a slight edge over running back Noel Devine (Fort Meyers, Fla.) and quarterback Jimmy Clausen (Westlake Village, Calif.). Devine and Clausen come in at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively. Offensive tackle Josh Oglesby (Milwaukee, Wi.), defensive end Everson Griffen (Avondale, Az.), defensive tackle Torrey Davis (Seffner, Fla.), running back Marc Tyler (Westlake Village, Calif.), wide receiver Arrelious Benn, running back Caleb King (Norcross, Ga.) and running back Joe McKnight (River Ridge, La.) round out the Scout.com Top 10.
The additions for this version include running backs Robert Hughes (Chicago, Ill.) and Gerald Jones (Oklahoma City, Ok.), wide receviers Anthony Boyles (Gardena, Calif.), Martell Webb (Pontiac, Mi.) and Niles Paul (Omaha, Ne.), defensive linemen Ryan VanBergen (Whitehall, Mi.), Christian Ballard (Lawrence, Ks.), Josh Brent (Bloomington, Ill.), and Da'John Harris (Gardena, Calif.), linebacker Chris Donald (Huntingdon, Tenn.), cornerback Dionte Allen (Orchard Lake, Mi.), and safeties Eugene Clifford (Cincinnati, Ohio), Devon Torrence (Canton, Ohio) and Michael McNeil (Mobile, Ala.).
Donald made the biggest move as he entered the Top 100 for the first time as a five-star linebacker and he was slotted in the No. 32 spot. The quarterbacks remained the same although there was some reshuffling near the top with John Brantley (Ocala, Fla.), Willy Korn (Duncan, S.C.), Tyrod Taylor (Hampton, Va.), Kodi Burns (Fort Smith, Ar.) and Aaron Corp (Orange, Calif.). Burns was bumped up to five-stars while Corps was lowered to four-stars.
Offensive linemen Chris Jacobson (Pittsburgh, Pa.), Stefen Wisniewski (Pittsburgh, Pa.), Dave Mole (Lemont, Ill.), and Harland Gunn (Omaha, Ne.), running back Dale Martin, tight end Billy Chavis (Beaumont, Tex.), defensive linemen Kenny Rowe (Long Beach, Calif.) and Kerry Murphy (Hoover, Ala.), cornerbacks Michael Williams (Ventura, Calif.) and Cedric Everson (Detroit, Mi.) and safeties Major Wright (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), Morgan Burnett (College Park, Ga.), Christian Scott (Dallas, Tex.), Marshall Jones (Westlake Village, Calif.), and C.J. Peake (Trotwood, Ohio) were all dropped from the Top 100.
51 of the nation's Top 100 prospects are already committed. Texas leads eight commitments from the Top 100, followed by USC (6), Notre Dame (5), Michigan (4) and Ohio State (4).
The nation's top 50 prospects all receive five-stars. Over the course of the next week, Scout.com will revise all the individual prospect rankings and next week we will unveil our national team recruiting rankings.
