It was hard fought battle, but the Lawton Wolverines pulled off an 18-13 victory over the Edmond Santa Fe Wolves at Wantland Stadium last Thursday. The game featured the top ranked wide receiver in the “Sooner State.”

Coach Cocannouer's troops lost the game, but his daughter, Josie, was crowned Homecoming Queen.

Junior Matt Jackson, a 5-foot-10, 165-pound wide receiver was generally open because of his crisp riut running skills.

Deon Miller, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound wide receiver is back on the field for the Wolverines.

Jorge Rodriguez worked hard all game, clearing holes for the running game.

Junior Cornelius Douglass, a 5-foot-9, 180-pounder plays quarterback for Lawton, but he will be a defensive back on the next level.

Junior Chris Porter, a 5-foot-9, 170-pound running back had a hard time getting his footing on the turf, but did just enough to help his team secure the victory.
