Brinson's Dream School

Brinson's Dream School

Bernard Brinson took a visit over the weekend to Florida State knowing that he had a meeting scheduled with the Florida State coaches to talk about a potential offer. Brinson came away from that meeting pretty happy.

"It went good, they offered me and all and I committed," said the 5-foot-10, 170-pounder. "I was in the coaches office before the Boston College game and they were telling me that they were going to offer and they asked me if they offered would I commit, and I said 'ready to commit'? I said 'yeah', and they were excited and pumped about everything. That's been my dream school since I was a little kid."

The Seminoles offered Brinson as a cornerback, and he believes he fits well into their defensive schemes.

"They want me to play cornerback. I see the field, I can press, I can play one-on-one, and I can come up and make the tackle."

The dream may not be completely realized as Brinson plans to take other official visits to make sure that Tallahassee is the right situation for him.

"I'm still going to take other visits and stuff, like I'm probably going to be visiting South Carolina and Tennessee."
