Visit No. 2 In The Books
"We're 6-2 right now with a couple games left," Ojomo said. "Unfortunately, we won't be going to the playoffs because Northwestern and Central are playing for the district title." Ojomo, 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, has 60 tackles and four sacks so far this season. "It's been hard getting sacks because either teams were running or getting the ball out quickly," he said. "I've been doing good on tackles. I only had about 40 last year. This year, I'm around 60. I had 12 in our last game." Ojomo, who says he's scheduled to appear on an ESPN interview this Saturday at 11:30, took a recruiting visit to Pittsburgh over the weekend. "It was a great trip," he said. "The coaches were really nice and the players were real cool. It was a nice city and the facilities were great. There were a few of us from Florida up there and I know they recruit a lot from down here." The standout defensive end had previously visited N.C. State and has an upcoming visit to Miami. "I really liked both of my visits so far and now it's time for me to check out Miami," he said. "I went to the (FIU) game last week and I still talk to the coaches a lot." Decision time is getting closer for Ojomo. "I'm probably gonna make a decision soon," he said. "It'll probably be in late November or early December. I wanna get it over with. These are three good schools and I just have to break down the depth charts and see where I fit in best and see where I feel most comfortable."
