Farrington Gets Good News

Jameil Farrington is excited about how his season is shaping up, and the defensive end from Homestead Senior High in Homestead, Florida has a big game coming up.

"We're going good, and we've got a big one (Friday) against our big rivals," said the 6-foot-2, 230-pounder. "I've been watching the game and I think I'm going to have a big game."

A big game seems to be just what the doctor ordered for Jameil Farrington, who is already having a great week.

"I just got my ACT score back and I'm all set; I got the score I needed with my GPA. We celebrated at the school and here at the house. I am going to tell the coaches about that, like Auburn is going to call me either Friday or Saturday because I'm supposed to be visiting them. I'm going to visit Auburn and NC State in December."

Farrington is not ready to name the two schools as his leaders at this point, but he does like the Tigers and Wolfpack.

"I'm just looking at them right now. I've got to do some more research about all of them. I like them, and Ole Miss has started to call me and talking to me a little more."

Still, Farrington finds himself watching some college football and gets a chance to watch Auburn and NC State when he gets a chance.

"I caught some of their games, but we're in practicing ourselves on a lot of the Saturdays. I like what I see in both of them, especially Auburn they remind me of our defense the way they play all over the field."
