Over the years St. Eds has produced a number of the countries most high profile athletes. two years ago OL Alex Boone signed with Ohio State. Last year the Pitt Panthers landed a dandy in Joe Thomas. This year there are a number of high profile players that will make an impact on the division one level. There are also a few phenomenal juniors to keep our eyes on.

Frank Edmonds, a 5-foot-8, 190-pound running back may be Ohio's best kept secret. He will torch offenses when given the lanes to run. He has offers from Miami (OH), Akron, Bowling Green, Toledo, Ball State and Ohio.

Nate Oliver has given a verbal commitment to the Ohio State University.

Junior Justin Staples, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound linebacker will be one of the most sought after prospects in the state a year from now.

LB Jeff Lucas recently gave a verbal commitment to New Mexico State.

WR Kyle Hubbard is a real physical specimen at 6-foot-5, 225 pounds. He is considering written offers from Pittsburgh, Kentucky, Kent State, Bowling Green and Akron.

Hubbard three-star defensive back Diauntae Morrow has a healthy offer list.

Junior athlete Branden Williams is a real burner. He should net some nice offers.

Junior LB Mike Spooner is as steady as they come. He will be a heavily recruited prospect.

Staples and Spooner will rival Brandon Beachum and Michael Zordich as the best LB duo in the state in the '08 class. Recommended Stories
