Newest Yellow Jacket is Big Time

Georgia Tech continued its impressive run in recruiting when it got a commitment from Sparkman (Ala.) High School Defensive End Albert Rocker. See Rocker in action and why Tech was so high on him in this presentation by ScoutTV*.

Albert Rocker plays defensive end for Sparkman High School in Alabama, and he recently made a commitment to Georgia Tech. Tech has had an impressive year already in recruiting, and adding Rocker to the star studded class only enhances its luster.

Rocker projects as a linebacker on the college level at 6-1 and 205 pounds, but he wreaks havoc as a defensive end on the high school level. He changes direction extremely well in space, and gets great leverage in his hits. He is a tenacious player that will give his team his best effort every minute he is on the field.

Rocker reminds me a lot of another defensive end turned linebacker, Antonio Clay who now plays for Clemson, but starred at end for Twiggs County.

See Rocker in action, and see why Sparkman opponents will be happy to see him graduate!
