Boston College's newest commitment for the Class of 2007 spoke with EagleInsider.com's Pat McManus…
Florida TE Makes Commitment
"I committed to Boston College yesterday," Lars Anderson said. "I took my visit there and made the decision on Sunday when I sat down to talk to Coach O'Brien." Anderson, 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, finished his senior season with 21 catches for 236 yards and three touchdowns. He committed to the Eagles over N.C. State, Michigan State, and others. "It was everything I expected and more," he said of the BC visit. "There are so many other colleges within a short distance of the BC campus. It's a beautiful area. They have a great football program and an even better academic program. I probably won't be taking any other visits." The talented tight end said he's excited about his future as an Eagle. "They're climbing the rankings," he said. "It looks like they'll be playing for an ACC title this year so they're going in the right direction. Plus, it looks good from a tight end's standpoint because the tight ends caught 12 balls against Duke and they rotated three of them. It just seemed like a real good situation to be involved with so I went ahead and committed."
