ScoutTV: OU Verbal Kody Cooke

Kody Cooke gave an oral commitment to play at Texas Tech early in the recruiting process, but after receiving an official offer from the Oklahoma Sooners he decided to switch his pledge.

Kody Cooke, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound offensive lineman from Enid, Okla., will join his teammate and friend Austin Box as they both will sign a letter of intent with Oklahoma on signing day (2/7/07).

Cooke is a versatile lineman that can pull and open up lanes for a running back, but plays in a style of offense that should have him prepared to do what it takes to protect the quarterback in the Sooner's offensive passing schemes.
