Three-star wide receiver (ranked No. 21 by Scout.com) Adrien Robinson (6-1, 225, 4.5) from Indianapolis Warren Central (Ind.) helped lead his team to a 35-14 victory over Carmel last Saturday and the 5A state championship.
Robinson finished the season with 28 receptions for 432 yards and three touchdowns. "I want to win," Robinson said. "I want to go somewhere I'll be able to be successful."
He favors Mississippi slightly over Louisville, Arkansas and Indiana and all of his favorites have offered, as well as five other programs.
"I'll be visiting Mississippi on December 8," Robinson said. "I'm really interested to check them out and see how they are. I haven't been there before, but I like their offense and the coaches are recruiting me the hardest. They came to my game a few weeks ago and some of the coaches said they will come by my house next month. They told me that I could probably play early there."
Robinson will also visit Louisville in December, but hasn't scheduled an official visit yet. "Louisville had a great year," Robinson said. "Their offense is unstoppable.
"Arkansas also had a pretty good season. They did a lot better than most people thought they would."
He reports a 2.0 core GPA and a 17 ACT--which he will be retaking. "I'll retake it next year," Robinson said. "I don't think it'll be an issue. Nobody seems concerned by it and neither am I."
