DiLillo to Decide by Spring
Madison (Ohio) tight end Nic DiLillo, 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, already holds a scholarship offer from the Pittsburgh Panthers. If the two top teams in the Big Ten offer it may be difficult for them to reel DiLillo in. The talented tight end has taken trips to Pittsburgh, Ohio State and several trips to Ann Arbor. Ohio State: "I went to the Michigan game. It was the craziest game I have ever been to in my life. Ohio State was at my school on Monday, so they seem to be pretty interested in me." Pittsburgh: "I have seen them play Louisville, West Virginia and Michigan State. I liked it there it was pretty cool. The atmosphere is not quite like Ohio State, but it was still nice." Michigan: "I have been to three games there Ball State, Iowa and Wisconsin. I love it, the day we were there it was a record setting day as far as attendance goes." As we mentioned, the only school to date that has come through with an offer has been Pittsburgh. "I was blown away when I got the offer," DiLillo said. "It was like I was in another world. I was at the Cleveland Browns camp in the summer and they liked me. They invited me to their summer camp and I went and did well. They said when they could offer me they would. They offered the first day in September. Paul Rhoades has been to my school a few times." DiLillo who caught 46 passes this year for 580 yards and four touchdowns is targeting March for a possible decision. "I would like to know what's going on by March with everyone, so I can decide then."
