How did his official visit to Ole Miss go?
"My
visit went good, actually, it went great. I didn't commit, but I was thinking
about it hard. I just figured it would be better to let the visit soak in and
talk a little more with my parents," added the 6' 2", 180 pound WR/S
prospect.
Darnell Williams had a chance to meet with Coach Orgeron before
he went back home."The meeting with Coach O this morning went well. He
told me I was a big-time player and that I fit into his plans well. He didn't
ask me to commit, but I could kind of tell he would have liked it if I had committed."
Williams
has a few more official visits lined up.
"I have three more visits
set up - Kentucky next weekend, Memphis after that and I don't know when I will
visit UCF."
When could a decision take place?
"I will make
my decision before Christmas. Right now, Ole Miss is number one, but it was my
first official visit."
Darnell had over 1, 200 all-purpose yards playing
slot, running back, kick returner, and punt returner. On defense, where he stared
at safety, he picked off 4 passes and had over 60 tackles.
Williams now
holds offers from Kentucky, Ole Miss, N.C. State, Nebraska, Memphis, and Central Florida.
