Starting Over

"Ohio State has been recruiting me a lot more recently," said Louisiana wide receiver Aaron Johnson. "They asked for some game tape. I went to their game against Minnesota earlier this year and loved it. They have an amazing atmosphere and the coaches really get their players ready for the next level."

Wide receiver Aaron Johnson, (5-11, 165, 4.4) from Baton Rouge Southern Lab (La.), finished his season with 70 carries for 720 yards and 12 touchdowns rushing. His team finished the season with a 10-3 record.

"I can get open quickly and catch the ball well," Johnson said. "I'm pretty versatile too. I played running back this season and feel like I can do it all. I also played defense and am pretty tough, but I still want to get stronger and break tackles better."

Johnson benches 245-pounds, squats 405 and has a 36-inch vertical jump.

He denied that he actually has any scholarship offers, contrary to his previous statements. Johnson favors Ohio State slightly over Auburn, Michigan, Stanford and Georgia.
