Pressley Has Visit Set
Kendrick Pressley - Southeast

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Kendrick Pressley felt the weight of senior leadership on his shoulders and had a great season for Sumter High, including a chance to show his talent this weekend in the North-South game, but he felt like his goals were not completely accomplished.

"We did alright," said the 6-foot, 170-pounder who plays quarterback in high school and will move to another position in college. "We didn't do what we wanted to do; we didn't go to the state championship, but we did pretty good."

Earning a spot in the North-South All-Star game is a priviledge, said Pressley, and he is making the most of the opportunity looking ready to start for the South squad on Saturday.

"First of all, it is a priviledge making it to the North-South. It has been fun because you get to meet people from all over and play with them, and it i a great chance to play against the best in the state."

Pressley is committed to Frank Beamer and Virginia Tech and has an official visit date for January.

"I committed to Virginia Tech, and they were really the only team to offer. On January 19, I've got an official visit set to Virginia Tech."
