"The visit to South Carolina went real well," said Terrell Edwards from Mobile, (Ala.). "I enjoyed the visit a whole lot."
"I got in Friday around 7:00 p.m. My first flight had technical difficulties. My host Chris Hampton showed me around a little bit that night. We went to a party and that was about it."
"Saturday we toured the school. I talked to a couple of students and a teacher about what I was going to major in. I got to experience everything. After all that we ate dinner with the coaches and some players. I went back out that night to two more parties and then went home."
"Today I talked to coach [Steve] Spurrier and coach [Ron] Cooper together. We talked about what would happen if I did come there. They said they were going to offer me but had to wait for now."
The Gamecocks have not been on Edwards' radar, but this weekend changed his interest level.
"I am definitely starting to have an interest in them. I have a very high interest in South Carolina right now," he said.
When asked the best part of his visit Edwards replied, "Best part of my trip was getting to meet the football players. Talking to them about what they liked and how they felt about the school."
