"I've been focusing on my games and grades," said Los Angeles wide receiver Reggie Dunn. "I've been making up a lot of grades and I just took the ACT on December 2. I'm waiting on my score. I'm also going to take the SAT in January..."

Four-star wide receiver Reggie Dunn (5-9, 160, 4.35), from Verbum Dei of Los Angeles, now denies a favorite. He previously favored Oregon and Oregon State solidly over USC, UCLA and California.

He's no longer considering California and says that his favorites are now Washington, Oregon, Oregon State, USC and UCLA. All have offered except USC and UCLA. Scout.com's No. 39 ranked wide receiver said his offers are contingent upon him improving his qualification status.

"If I had a favorite I'd tell you. I've said who I favored in the past," Dunn said. "I don't have a favorite right now and can't commit right now because I need to bring up my grades. I'm not qualified. The coaches and I are confident that I can bring up my grades. I've been working really hard.

"I have an official visit planned to Washington for January 12. Coach Eric Yarber (wide receivers) thinks that I'll fit in really well with the team. I think he can make me into a better receiver and prepare me for the next level. The Huskies are recruiting me the hardest. I speak to Coach Yarber a few times a week.

"I'm making plans to visit Oregon State," he said. "They are recruiting me for special teams--kick return and punt return. I don't mind that at all. My number one priority is to get on the field. Coach Nigel Burton (cornerbacks) says he really likes me a lot and calls me about twice a week to check up on how I am doing academically.

"I haven't spoken to the Ducks in awhile…but I really like their offense. Coach Steve Greatwood (offensive line) is a really cool coach. Oregon was the first to offer and I appreciate that.

"Lately I've been getting a lot of visits from the coaches at USC," Dunn said. "We just played our championship game (Mid-Valley Division 11) last Saturday (December 9). We won over La Salle (Pasadena) 32-10. Coach Pete Carroll was there to watch me play.

"Today (Wednesday), coaches David Watson (defensive line) and Brennan Carroll (tight ends) were at my school. We had a long talk about my grades. They know that I am working really hard on them. Nothing came up about an offer, but they know that I am interested in USC. Even if they did offer, I wouldn't say they'd be the one. I would consider the Trojans with the rest of the schools. I haven't talked with UCLA lately.

"I've been focusing on my games and grades. I'm been making up a lot of grades and I just took the ACT on December 2. I'm waiting on my score. I'm also going to take the SAT in January.
