Hubert Anyiam (6-1.5, 178, 4.4), the three-star wide receiver from North Garland High in Garland, Texas, says it's now down to Oklahoma State and Nebraska. He just visited the Cowboys this weekend (Jan. 19).
"It was great trip," said Anyiam, ranked No. 82 by Scout.com. "I'm really comfortable there and I like the fan support a lot. They have great coaches and I think they are an up-and-coming team. They are pretty young and have a lot of good players. Also, they aren't too far away, which is nice."
Anyiam cites distance as the reason for no longer considering Arizona (Dec. 8 official trip) and Louisville. "I had a visit scheduled for Louisville on Jan. 26, but cancelled it. They are a bit too far, plus I'm feeling good about Oklahoma State and Nebraska. I'll make my decision this week."
Anyiam visited Nebraska several months ago on Oct. 21. "They have a great offense and it's really improved a lot. The team is also on the rise and I like how they are passing the ball more.
"I'll need to think about my two visits and compare everything," Anyiam said. "I visited Nebraska back in Oct, so obviously Oklahoma State will be more fresh in my mind, but I don't have a favorite right now, it's 50/50."
He reports a 2.3 core GPA and a 1000 SAT.
