Don't Look Past this Gamecock

South Carolina is making a big splash this year in recruiting as they have cracked the Top 10 at Scout.com for the first time. While there are several big name players on the list, Patrick DiMarco is a player that should not be overlooked.

South Carolina has maintained a steady pace up the recruiting rankings through the months of December and January, but one guy that may have been overlooked during the rush of four-star players is Patrick DiMarco of Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Spring, Fla..

DiMarco is a high energy defensive end that plays with a lot of strength and tenacity. He also doubles as a tight end as well. He helped lead his team to the State Championships as a senior.

He's listed as a defensive end at 6-3, but he doesn't look quite that tall on video. He looks like he could be a linebacker or fullback on the college level and would be very good at either position. He takes on blocks well on defense, and he blocks very well and has soft hands on offense.

He's a player that might be overlooked a little on South Carolina's star studded class, but he shouldn't be. DiMarco is the type of player that wins games in the fourth quarter for teams.
