Nothing in the world of high school football recruiting is ever for certain, but one thing is. Pennsylvania will always produce a top notch signal caller. One of This years early candidates for the top spot is Nolan Kearney.

Western Pennsylvania is often considered the cradle of quarterbacks for its glorious history of great signal callers. Over the past few years it has spread over the entire state and not just the Western side. Chad Henne, Pat Devlin and Pat Bostick have all shown that you don't have to be from Pittsburgh to be good. This year, Downingtown West junior quarterback Nolan Kearney looks to be the states top player at the position.

Kearney, 6-4 and 225 pounds, has caught the eye of college coaches from a number of schools like Penn State, Connecticut, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Purdue, Pittsburgh and Virginia just to name a few. Kearney is still awaiting his first scholarship offer, but judging from his junior highlights it won't be long
