Tatum Teammates Sticking Together

Lennon Creer was one of the big names left on the board for several teams, and on Thursday the nation's number ten running back from Tatum, Texas decided to commit to Tennessee.

"I made up my mind last night," said the 6-foot-1, 190-pounder. "I talked with my family about Alabama, but I decided on Tennessee."

Creer, ranked as the number 79 prospect overall in the country, committed to the Vols over offers from Alabama, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Texas.

"Creer is a big kid and a powerful runner. You'll almost never see just one man bring him down," said Jeremy Patterson, Southwest recruiting analyst for Scout.com. "He has good cutback ability and solid vision. He doesn't have great speed, but he's fast enough. His biggest strength is without a doubt his tackle breaking ability."

Creer's commitment was combined with an announcement from teammate Darnius Moore who also committed to the Vols.

"Tennessee has a really good offense for me and I like it a lot, but I would have to get used to being a ways from home."

"I have good speed and move with the ball," Moore said of his own abilities. "I just follow the ball and go after it. I like getting the deep ball and putting up big yards. I still need to improve my strength and I want to break more tackles and improve my agility."
