Dallas Skyline safety Christian Scott kept as tight of a lid on his recruitment as anyone in the country has this year. Late Sunday night he ended the guessing and made his choice.
"I am going to be attending Texas," Scott said. "Every time I thought about it, I just kept coming back to Texas. I could always see myself going there."
The 6-foot-0, 195-pound Scott is ranked as the nation's No. 15 safety by Scout.com.
"It was close between Oklahoma and Texas," Scott said. "It really came down to those two in the end. I just decided to go to the home state school."
Scott was a participant in the 2007 U.S. Army All-American game.
"Texas was just the place for me," Scott said. "I really trusted the coaches and it felt like home. I am happy to have all of this behind me now."
