Adam Tello (6-4, 290, 5.2), from Norco High School (Calif.), continues to focus on Arizona State and Louisville…and is still slightly favoring the Sun Devils.
"It's a 60-40 decision for me right now," said the Scout.com three-star offensive lineman. "I really like the coaches at ASU and coach (Rich) Olson (offensive line) reminded me a lot of some of the coaches I have right now.
"I like all the pro sports teams that are in Phoenix and I would really like to play in the Pac-10 and go up against big schools like Oregon, USC and California. There are also a lot of good new recruits coming in and the coaches look like they are building a good program. Mostly I liked the fact that it is a college town and the athletes really look like they have fun there, plus it is close to home.
"Louisville is a great school and they are proven winners. I loved the atmosphere and they seem very supportive of me at Louisville. I like the Big 12 and there are some tough teams there…but I want to go up against USC and Oregon.
"My dad thinks I should go to Louisville, because he knows how much I like to win and I have good chance at playing on a winning team. My mom thinks I should go to ASU because it's close to home."
Tello's girlfriend is going to Louisville on a softball scholarship. As previously reported, Scout.com's No. 36 offensive guard denies this is a factor.
"I'll be making my decision tomorrow (Tuesday)," Tello said. "I'm going to call the coach of the school that I'm going to tomorrow. I don't know when. I'm not gonna have a press conference."
Tello's GPA is 2.5 and he scored a 1520 on his SAT.
