A big day for Oregon State, that started with Compton (Calif.) Dominguez cornerback David Ross faxing his LOI to Corvallis, got even better on Wednesday night when Los Angeles (Calif.) Verbum Dei receiver Reggie Dunn picked the Beavers over Arizona on FSN's High School Spotlight.
"Both were great schools, they both provide what I want in college which is a good education and a chance to play right away", said Dunn. "At the 2007 season, I will be taking my multi-talented abilities to Oregon State".
Dunn, a four-star prospect, is the 5th ranked receiver in California and gives the Beavers its seventh four-star prospect in the class of 2007.
"Coach Riley explained to me that I had a great chance to play right away, and I think I can get in there and make a great impact this season," said Dunn. "I just decided I'm going to play receiver at the next level."
Dunn is one of three players from Verbum Dei to sign with a Pac-10 school today, joining teammates Justin Edison and Akeem Ayers, who signed with UCLA.
"I'm excited that its over and I enjoyed the whole recruiting process, and I'm ready to get it done", said Dunn.
