Two More for Moore

While some of his senior teammates were putting their pens to paper and signing with teams like Louisville and Eastern Michigan, tight end Brandon Moore was pulling in offers from some of the countries most talked about college football programs.

Brandon Moore, a 6-foot-6, 220-pound tight end from Trotwood-Madison High in Ohio has racked up a very impressive early offer list.

Stanford, Nebraska, Georgia, Mississippi, Illinois, LSU and Clemson have already previously offered the Southwest Ohio standout, but he netted two more major offers on Wednesday.

"Oklahoma and Colorado offered me today," Moore explained. "I do not know too much about Colorado, but I have followed Oklahoma some."

"I have followed the Sooners' program some though. They are a school that I like. Nebraska offered me last year during their season, so I got to watch Oklahoma play in the Big 12 Championship Game."

Moore also recently added a big offer when LSU came calling.

"I really like LSU," Moore said. "By the time they offered, I had already known that they were a school that I was very interested in. I was excited about that one."

Moore plans to attend at Ohio State's pro day on March 10.

"Yes I am definitely excited to be going to that," Moore said of the home state school. "Ohio State is definitely one of my favorite schools. I did not hear from them today."

Moore had previously reported that the Wolverines would be offering him a scholarship on or around signing day, and he caught us up with the latest thoughts on that potential major offer.

"I think Michigan may have called out to the school," Moore said. "They did not offer yet. I think I am going to be giving Michigan coaches a call sometime this week."

With all of the early interest and offers, it was hard for Moore to narrow his list down, but he gave it his best shot.

"I think the top schools for me right now are Georgia, Clemson, Ohio State, LSU, Oklahoma, Michigan, Notre Dame and USC," Moore informed.

Moore had 19 receptions for 286 yards and one touchdown as a junior in 2006.
