While there are a few other junior prospects at Lake Balboa (Calif.) Birmingham that are getting more headlines, 6-2, 222-pound junior linebacker Donovan Carter led the City Section champs last season with 130 tackles, and is starting to get some recruiting interest in his own right.

Carter is shown in action during his 2006 junior season when he earned all-City Section honors for the Patriots.
