"I
received an offer from Ole Miss early last week," added DeMario Williams.
How
did the Rebels extend their offer?
"They told my coach that I was
exactly what they were looking for. They liked my size, height, and the way I
catch the ball. They said I would be a perfect fit for their system. They want
to get me down there."
What does Williams know about Ole Miss?
"I
do not know too much about Ole Miss, but they signed one of my good friends, Isaiah Smith, last year. He really likes it down there, and he has been encouraging me
to come down there too. We have been talking a lot. Ole Miss is just a good SEC
school who is trying to get to where they were a couple of years ago when Eli
was there."
The 6' 3", 182 pound All-State performer received
an offer from South Carolina earlier this year. Now with two SEC schools in the
fold, who could be next?
"Vandy has been talking to me a lot lately."
Is
South Carolina still heavily in the mix?
"Oh yes, most definitely.
I have been hearing a lot from South Carolina lately and Memphis too. Memphis
came to my Spring game. I have been hearing from Wake Forest too."
Which
colleges that are not real active in their recruitment with DeMario would Williams
like to start hearing from?
"Probably Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Ohio State.
Those are the main schools I can think of off the top of my head, but there are
a lot more schools too, like USC."
Where does DeMario now stand with
his recruitment?
"The people who have offered me are at the top of
my list. I have got to consider the ones who have offered me. Ole Miss and South
Carolina are my top two schools."
Where does DeMario plan to camp
at this summer?
"I am going to Vandy, Auburn, Alabama, and Tennessee.
Those are the ones I know I am going to camp at for sure. I am going to try and
work it out where I can go to South Carolina and Ole Miss too."
