Robert Fuller, the 6-foot-2, 200-pound quarterback/athlete with 4.7 quickness from Arroyo Valley High School in San Bernardino (Calif.), was recently offered a scholarship from Colorado State, as previously reported.

Although the Rams are the only school to have offered Fuller, he is receiving significant interest and says he favors Arizona slightly over Washington, Oregon, Utah, Nevada and San Jose State. "The head coach (Chris Ault) from Nevada was at my school a few weeks ago and he said I was one of the top quarterbacks on their list," Fuller said. "They seem to really like me."

Fuller is planning on attending summer camps at San Jose State and Washington. "I'm going to Washington on June 28," he said. "I hear great things about coach Tyrone Willingham and he's done well everywhere he's been. I also really like the Pac-10 and believe that they'll be competing for the national championship soon."

Another Pac-10 school in the northwest region that Fuller is looking at is Oregon. "I hear it's a good college town and that the stadium get crazy," Fuller said. "I also love their uniforms and the offense is amazing. They run the spread and it's great for a quarterback."

Quarterback is the position that Fuller says he wants to play in college, despite the fact that several schools are recruiting him at safety or athlete. "I want to be a college quarterback and I'm only looking at schools that are recruiting me at quarterback," he said. "I don't want to hear from schools that want me as a safety or athlete.

"I want to find a scheme I fit in with and I'll check out how many quarterbacks they have and who they are bringing in," Fuller said. "I'll decide when the time is right. If I feel I've done enough research and feel comfortable, I'll commit."

Although Fuller says all his favorites are close, the Wildcats do have an slight edge. "They are a rebuilding team and I think I'd be able to help them get better," Fuller said. "It would be a good opportunity to play and I love that they are going to be running the Texas Tech offense. They are gonna be passing like 90 percent of the time."

He reports a 2.8 core GPA and a 930 SAT.
