A productive player on both sides of the ball, Westgate is coming off a junior year in which he had 118 tackles and earned all-state underclass honors and all-CIF honors after helping Oak Park to the CIF-SS finals in 2006. He added seven sacks, three interceptions, recovered a fumble and blocked a punt.
On offense, rushed for 543 yards and scored five touchdowns and had 14 receptions for 140 yards.
