Minnesota received a commitment from a punter from Wisconsin, Bradley Nortman, giving the Gophers their eighth known verbal in the Tim Brewster's first full recruiting class...

Brookfield (Wisc.) Central punter Bradley Nortman (6-3, 210) has made his collegiate choice.

"Bradley has committed to Minnesota," said Chris Sailer of Chris Sailer Kicking. "He is a very talented punter and we have him ranked the #1 high school punter in the nation at this point."

Nortman, an all-state pick in 2006, excelled at Sailer's Kicking Camp earlier this year.

"Bradley has more natural punting potential than anyone in the nation in the class of 2008," said Sailer. "He is big, tall, strong, and a great athlete. Potential punters like this don't come along often."
