Joseph Williams, the 6-0, 250-pound, defensive tackle from Elk Grove (Calif.), was a two-way starter as a junior, his second year playing both ways.
Williams had 94 tackles (7.2 a game), four fumble recoveries and two sacks during the season and was a second team all-Delta Valley League and team Defensive Lineman Co-MVP.
This fall, he will be the captain of Elk Grove , where he'll be in his third year as a starter on both sides of the ball. Williams camped at Fresno State and was the winner of Fresno State's "King of the Ring" at their 2007 summer camp.
He was an all-combine selection at the San Francisco Scout.com Combine this past spring.
