Martavious Odoms, the 5-foot-8, 171-pound three-star wide receiver from Pahokee, (Fla., has tried several summer camps already and isn't done yet.
He's already camped at Rutgers, South Carolina and Central Florida and will be at Florida State later this month.
"The Rutgers camp was really nice," Odoms, ranked No.121 in the Southeast by Scout.com, said. "They are actually recruiting a lot of guys from Florida, so I knew a bunch of people there. It's a fun environment and I like the coaches. They seem to really get along with the players well."
Although Odoms denies a leader, he says he has offers from Rutgers, South Carolina, Iowa and Notre Dame and is considering all of them.
"I don't really know yet about where I want to go," he said. "I'm not thinking about all that yet. I'm just going to the camps and seeing who else offers. I plan to have my top five done by the time school starts again."
Even though the Hawkeyes have offered, Odoms wonders how much they will be throwing the ball. "They are pretty much a running team I think," he said. "I need to learn more about them, but I want to go to a school that passes the ball a lot. But I do like their tradition and they seem to like me a lot.
"Notre Dame has like the best tradition," he said. "They also have a great offense that gets the ball to the receiver a lot.
"I want to be around positive players and positive coaches," he said. "I want to be with people that are there to help me and see me get better. That's what I want to find."
He reports a 2.5 core GPA, but has not taken the SAT or ACT yet.
