GA Quarterback Talks Auburn Tigers
"I have not been anywhere recently," said Tyler Bass. "I am going to Auburn's camp this weekend. I am then going to Jacksonville State for a 7-on-7 camp with my team." "I am looking forward to the Auburn camp. It's going to be me, Vance King and Randy Salmon. I am going to work-out with the quarterbacks." Bass has several scholarship offers, but Auburn has not extnded one as of yet. "I just hope to prove to them they are recruiting a talented quarterback. Hopefully, I can prove to be one of the top quarterbacks in the South, if not the best. I want to show them why they are recruiting me," Bass said. "A few Auburn coaches came by the school in May. Coach [Hugh] Nall came one time and one other coach came as well. Coach Nall came back when we started spring practice. He saw us practice and told my coach he was very interested. My coach said I should go to their camp, and that coach Nall was excited to get me down there." "Coach Nall has texted me a few times. He seems like a pretty nice guy. I like him a lot. He seems very interested in me. He seems real cool." The 6-foot-3, 210-pound quarterback knows what he likes about the out-of-state SEC program. "They have great tradition. They have won a lot of games. They have a good defense. They don't have to have a great offense because of their defense. They recruit fast players. They have a good running game as well," he said. When asked favorites and tine-frame for decision Bass stated, "I don't have any favorites. I am going to wait until the end of the season to make my decision.. I will probably have it narrowed to a few schools by the middle of the season."
