Kip Edwards is yet another talented player from the “Lone Star State” who has seen his recruiting skyrocket since he got his name out on the landscape during events like the Scout.com All-American Combine that was held in Dallas. He talks about his on the field hero and his offer sheet in the episode of ScoutTV.

Kip Edwards, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound defensive back from Bowie High in Arlington, Texas is a physical defensive back who has also posted some elite times like a 4.53 forty-yard dash and 4.12 pro-shuttle at the Scout.com Combine earlier this Spring.

That combination of skills has earned him scholarship offers from programs like North Texas, Iowa, Louisville, Rice, UTEP, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri.

Edwards recorded three interceptions, 54 tackles and 10 knockdowns as a junior in 2006.
