“Everything went real good down at Alabama,” Jerrell Harris said from Gadsden, (Ala.). “I went down there and attended the camp. It was great. I had a good time.” “The coaches were real cool with me. I talked to coach [Nick] Saban a little bit. They were all just saying they were glad to see me and glad I came down to work out with them.” Harris has visited Alabama several times throughout the spring and summer. “I like Alabama because they are an up-and-coming program. They are going to be really good in the next few years. They have a lot of room for players to come in and play. They are recruiting me as a SAM linebacker," Harris said. The blue chip recruit has trimmed his list of favorites, but it remains in double digits. “I have narrowed it down to 11 schools. It’s USC, Michigan, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn and Louisville. I feel those programs fit me the best. All offer early playing time, and they are all good programs to attend," he said. “I am going to try to trim my list down mid-way through the season or by December. I may make a decision in January or could wait it out until February." Stay with Scout.com as we continue to track the recruitment of Jerrell Harris. |
