It was only a matter of time before Tyler Barnes secured his first division on scholarship offer, and after a successful camp stop at Arkansas where he proved he is 100 percent healthy he secured an official offer from Army. In this feature we also have an audio clip of Barnes from the Arkansas camp.

Army was the first school to step up to the plate with an offer for Tyler Barnes, a 6-foot-4 290-pound offensive lineman from Bentonville, Ark., his father, Tony, informed Scout.com earlier this morning.

Barnes who is also receiving interest from Tulsa, Kansas, and Arkansas, is fresh off of a successful camp stop at Arkansas where he lowered his forty time by three-tenths of a second and chipped three teeth in the brutal one-on-one battles that were held in the indoor practice facility at Fayetteville.
