SOMERSET, N.J. -- In a group of 150 athletes Brandon Smith stands out in several ways. Smith has no problem telling everyone what is on his mind, but he backs it up on the field as well. Scout.com caught up with one of the most talented athletes on the East Coast over the weekend to get the latest on his recruitment.

New Brunswick, N.J., four-star safety/wide receiver Brandon Smith thought he had the whole recruiting game figured out as he narrowed his choices down to three schools Michigan, Rutgers and Wisconsin.

Smith, recently received an offer that got his attention. It wasn't some much the school that offered (South Carolina), but the prospect of playing both ways that caught Smith's attention and caused him to think about his options.

During the Next Level Athletics X-treme X-posure Camp, Smith took some time to discuss the latest developments in his recruitment with Scout.com in this video interview.
