The Trojans land their fourth 5-star prospect in the class of 2008, and their second at receiver, when Norcross (Ga.) WR Brice Butler announced for the Trojans at a press conference on Saturday afternoon...

Norcross (Ga.) receiver Brice Butler spurned his parents alma mater, Florida State, and will instead take his game to the West Coast and play at USC, announcing for the Trojans on Saturday at a press conference at his school.

"Im going to continue to the Butler legacy at...USC," said Butler.

The commitment from Butler is the 13th for the Trojans, and their fourth from a five-star prospect. It's also the second five-star receiver the Trojans will bring in next fall, with D.J. Shoemate from Servite HS in Anaheim, Calif., the other.

"I wanted to be at a place that I felt one with the coaches," said Butler.

Last fall, Butler had 35 receptions for 680 yards and nine touchdowns.
