Jarard Milo Eager to Hit Field
"I am ready to get on the field," Jarard Milo said. "I haven't played since my sophomore season. This year I will be playing safety on defense. I'll play running back and receiver on offense." "A lot of these schools are ready to see me play. They want to see what I can do. I do have the offer from Minnesota. I am receiving interest from Wisconsin, Kansas State, Texas A&M, LSU and Kansas." Milo attended the Kansas State camp and talks about the time spent in Manhattan. "It went pretty good. I know when I first got there I was going to stay a week, but I ended up staying only a day or two. They took who they thought were the best players, and I was one of them. I worked with the receivers the first day and the safeties the next. It went real well." "I didn't get a chance to talk to the coaches the day I left because they were still in practice sessions. I communicated with coach [Matt] Wallerstedt a few weeks after the camp. He said I did good and told me to keep in touch with him." "All the coaches at K-State were real cool. I liked them. I get along with them. They tell you what you need to do. I liked it down there." "Right now I would say my favorite school is Minnesota. I like the coaches. I talk to all of them. I haven't been able to visit, but I am going to try to get there before school starts." "Coach [Ronnie] Lee is my recruiting coach. Our relationship is real tight. We can't text anymore, but I used to talk to him every week." Milo took a physical Tuesday and measured 6-foot-4, 207-pounds.
