Just a day after receiving his first offer, from Portland State, Sacramento (Calif.) Capital Christian quarterback Kramer Hagan (6-1, 214), ended his recruitment.
"He called Coach (Jerry) Glanville last night and told him yes. After a day of talking to coaches and thinking about this, it is a major golden opportunity for Kramer. He is their
first and only recruit for 2008 and has a chance to be a part of the run and shoot offense."
The run-and-shoot guru, Mouse Davis, is the offensive coordinator for the Vikings.
"Mouse Davis totally believes Kramer can lead the nation in passing," said Hagan.
And the Vikings schedule the next few years will give him a chance to showcase his talents.
"They are playing a ton of Pac-10 schools, Indiana from the Big-10 and Kentucky from the SEC," said Hagan.
Hagan passed for 2,407 yards and threw 19 touchdown passes (240.7 yards a game), and rushed for 372 yards and 10 touchdowns during his junior year. He was named all-League MVP and earned all-City honors. As a sophomore, he threw for 1,720 yards and 16 touchdowns.
