Palos Verdes (Calif.) Chadwick kicker Tom Balough (5-10, 170, 4.5), has made his college commitment.
"Tom did commit to Army," said kicking coach Chris Sailer of Chris Sailer Kicking. "He is a hard worker and makes kicks."
Balough was also looking at Cal, Stanford, Harvard, Columbia, Arizona State and Washington.
"Tom is a fine young kicker. He has great mechanics and has shown steady improvement since his freshman season. He can hit from 50 Yards out and get the ball up into the 4.0 range on kickoffs," said Sailer.
During his junior season, Balough was 10-for-13 on field goals and made 36-of-38 PATs. On kickoffs, 70% of them went for touchbacks.
Balough is also a fine student, sporting a 3.2 GPA and scoring a 2050 on the SAT.
