Long Beach (Calif.) Poly safety Vaughn Telemaque (6-2, 190), who started the summer with no offers, has now picked up his fourth offer, and from the fourth different conference.
"Vaughn received another offer, from Rutgers yesterday, offering him a full scholarship," said his dad, Todd Toliver.
Telemaque had previous offers from North Carolina, Michigan and Oregon. During a family vacation to the East Coast, Telemaque planned to meet the Rutgers coaching staff for an unofficial visit.
Over the weekend, Telemaque told Scout.com about his timetable for a decision.
"I think I'm getting closer to making my decision, and I plan to this month with my teammate (DT) Jurrell Casey," said Telemaque.
As a junior, Telemaque had 54 tackles, four deflections and two picks in helping lead the Jackrabbits to the 2006 CIF-Pac 5 Division Semifinals.
Here are clips of Telemaque from the 2006 season.
