The top 18 players in the Midwest have stayed the same, a few may have switched spots in numerical order. Trotwood (Ohio) Trotwood-Madison running back Michael Shaw moved up seven spots in the rankings to No. 18 after a strong spring and summer.

C.H. Miami Trace (Ohio) defensive end Nathan Williams moved up ten spots to No. 22 after an outstanding showing at Ohio State's summer camp. Lexington (Ky.) Catholic safety Winston Guy makes his Midwest Top 100 debut at No. 56 with a head turning performance at Arkansas camp. Troy (Ohio) guard Jake Current also makes his Midwest Top 100 debut at No. 88

Notre Dame has commitments from eight of the Midwest Top 100. Ohio State, Michigan and Wisconsin have seven each. Illinois has landed five, Penn State four, and Nebraska has reeled in three.
