Loomis (Calif.) Del Oro lineman Jason Heath (6-4, 265), has made his college decision and he's headed to the Mountain West.
"Jason committed to UNLV," said Del Oro head coach Casey Taylor. "He visited this summer and really liked it there."
One of the stalwarts on the Del Oro offensive line, Taylor felt that Heath made a good decision in committing to the Rebels and head coach Mike Sanford.
"We feel it is a great fit for Jason and he will do very well there," said Taylor. "He really wants to be a big part of an up and coming program."
Heath is one of a handful of potential D-I prospects for Del Oro, and Taylor welcomes him back for his final prep season.
"He is looking forward to having a great season and being a team leader," said Taylor.
An all-league pick as a junior, Heath is the second known commitment for the Rebels.
